Island Games 1997
Die Island Games 1997 waren die siebte Auflage der Spiele. Sie fanden vom 28. Juni bis zum 4. Juli 1997 auf Jersey statt. Es nahmen rund 2000 Athleten teil. Der Hauptveranstaltungsort war das Springfield Stadium in Saint Helier.

Island nahm zum letzten Mal teil, da unabhängige Inselstaaten ab 1999 nicht mehr zugelassen wurden. Hitra kehrte nach 1989 sowie St. Helena, Ascension und Tristan da Cunha nach 1987 wieder zu den Spielen zurück.
