Żabin, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship
Village in Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, Poland
54°20′N 22°3′E / 54.333°N 22.050°E / 54.333; 22.050Żabin [ˈʐabin] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Banie Mazurskie, within Gołdap County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia.[1] It lies approximately 11 kilometres (7 mi) north of Banie Mazurskie, 17 km (11 mi) west of Gołdap, and 119 km (74 mi) north-east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
There are two cemeteries—one German, one Russian—from World War I located in the town.
