Ion, Iowa
Unincorporated community in Iowa, United States
43°06′46″N 91°15′43″W / 43.11278°N 91.26194°W / 43.11278; -91.26194Ion is an unincorporated community in Allamakee County, Iowa, United States.[1]
History
Ion was platted in 1855 [2] and was named after a character in a novel, one of the settlers had recently read.[3] Ion's population was 52 in 1902.[4]
