Jahliyan Rural District (Persian: دهستان جهليان)[3] is in the Central District of Konarak County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran.[4] Its capital is the village of Jahliyan.[5]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 13,629 in 2,723 households.[6] There were 17,789 inhabitants in 3,999 households at the following census of 2011.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 21,361 in 5,284 households. The most populous of its 54 villages was Pozm-e Tiab, with 2,912 people.[2]
