Koshksaray District (Persian: بخش کشکسرای) is in Marand County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Koshksaray,[2] whose population at the 2016 National Census was 12,250 people in 2980 households.[3]
History
In 2019, Koshksaray Rural District and the city of Koshksaray were separated from the Central District in the establishment of Koshksaray District, which was divided into two rural districts, including the new Yalquz Aghaj Rural District.[2] In addition, the village of Dizaj Hoseyn Beyg was elevated to the status of a city.[4]
