Santa María la Asunción
Municipality and town in Oaxaca, Mexico
18°49′N 99°34′W / 18.817°N 99.567°W / 18.817; -99.567Santa María la Asunción is a town and municipality in Oaxaca in south-western Mexico. The municipality covers an area of km². It is part of the Teotitlán District in the north of the Cañada Region.
As of 2010, the municipality had a total population of 3,252.[1]
