Virštanj (pronounced [ˈʋiːɾʃtan]) is a settlement in the Municipality of Podčetrtek in eastern Slovenia. It is best known as a wine-producing area. It is part of the traditional region of Styria and is now included in the Savinja Statistical Region.[2]
